Rodáism is a full service art studio, masterminded by Rodá, providing marker comps, comics & cartooning, animation character design, storyboards, electronic photo imaging & illustration, sculpture, logo design, air-brush art, layout, design & silkscreen lines.

Rodá is influenced by the artists of the surreal - thus calling his illustrations "surreal illustrations". Rodáism is a play on the obvious with skewed angles, mood alteration, whimsy or just funky interpretation.

Major influences: Jean "Moebius" Giraud, Bill Sienkiewicz, Ted McKeever, Tim Burton, Rene Magritte, Salvador Dali, Ralph Steadman & Jean-Michel Basquiat.

Rodá is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology and Jersey City State College.

Rodá is currently producing:

  • a cartoon strip called RODÁISM for Scoop Magazine
  • Shield Productions "The Cloud" Children's video

Rodá has designed characters for children's books and storyboards for animation.

Rodá has illustrated:

  • the story "Imagined Freedom" appearing as part of the lemon custard web site
  • the books "Radical Redux" and "Reflections of the Soul"
  • Marvel & DC Comics
  • Illness formerly the alternative rock group Sweet Lizard Ill Tet
  • silkscreen for Hoboken PAL
  • Rockmount Undergarments - Nite T's lines
  • celebrity portraits for Dream Guy magazine

Rodá has designed logos for:

Rodá has taught as an adjunct at Jersey City State College in the Upward Bound program and for Cartoon Rendering.
